So my dad has been working on a project in Algeria- a supermarket so he could provide my family members that aren’t as blessed as we are with jobs and other Algerian’s who are unable to find work because of disabilities or other circumstance. Today he sent me this photo of the outside of the supermarket, he named it “Superette Houriya”. My mum’s name is Houriya, so this translates to Houriya’s supermarket in French. I couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming wave of emotion because of how my father put my mothers name on his project, so that everyone who will work there and shop there will praise my mother instead of him. This is what marriage is all about, giving all the credit to your partner out of love and selflessness.
